
With that being said, this book is a great supplement to the movie. I really liked how the scene and the pictures corresponded to the movie. I rated this book 3 stars because the story was good, I just wish the book was a little bit longer and provided a little more insight to the journey of Shrek, Puss in Boots, and Donkey.

The King, who is Fiona's dad, disapproves of Shrek as her husband, so he offers Puss in Boots a large amount of money to go kill Shrek. Based on a scene from the movie "Shrek 2", this book is the story of how Shrek met Puss in Boots.
